BreaktheStigma is a women-led NGO here in Fiji which enables menstruators by creating awareness on the necessity of menstrual education and proper menstrual hygiene.
This organization has been true to their mission as they have provided free period products to 100 schools in the rural areas of Fiji. By providing period products in schools, BreaktheStigma eliminates the fear of having your period unexpectedly when students may not have period products or may not have enough to last the day.
BreaktheStigma ensures that this is not a one-time instance. This organization in conjunction with local government bodies has promised its continual support to rural schools in the provision of period products.
